How to best care for your Enid Blythe dog bed

Your dog bed and cover will arrive in two separate packages. Upon receiving your new Enid Blythe dog bed, you’ll find it compressed for ease of delivery. Once unwrapped, the high-density memory foam may appear firm or slightly compressed, especially in colder temperatures. Please allow 48–72 hours at room temperature for full expansion.

Inside the box, the bed is encased in a durable black waterproof lining. This black lining, designed for ultimate practicality, never needs to be removed. Should it ever need a tidy-up, simply wipe it clean with a cloth.

The 100% cotton exterior cover will arrive in a separate box. Dress your bed in its exterior cover, then zip it up. The cover can be machine washed on cold for effortless care. The cover may shrink slightly during the first few washes due to the natural fibers, but once fitted back on the bed, it will stretch and mold perfectly, much like a beloved pair of jeans.

And there you have it—a perfectly prepared sanctuary for your beloved companion.

Memory Foam Care & Storage Guide

Because this bed uses high-density memory foam, its comfort comes from a material that is soft, supportive, and sensitive to temperature and storage.

When you first open your bed, the foam may look slightly compressed or feel firmer than expected, especially in colder weather. This is normal. Simply place the bed in a warm room and allow 48–72 hours for it to fully expand to its intended shape and softness.

If the bed is compressed, stored unused for long periods of time, we recommend opening it and allowing the foam to “breathe” at least once every 6 months. This helps maintain the long-term comfort and elasticity of the foam.

To keep your bed feeling its best:
• Store it flat when possible
• Avoid keeping it tightly compressed for extended periods
• Allow airflow if storing for long periods

Our beds are crafted to provide long-lasting comfort and are carefully checked before shipping. Proper storage and care help preserve that comfort for years to come.
