What materials are used in Enid Blythe dog beds?
We are rather particular about materials — as one should be when building something meant to last.

Exterior Cover: 100% natural cotton — breathable, beautiful, and machine washable. Secured with durable YKK metal zippers.

Orthopedic Interior: High-density memory foam — 100% polyurethane, encased in a waterproof black lining — 100% polyester.

The result is a luxury orthopedic dog bed that is as practical as it is considered — easy to care for, built to endure, and entirely worthy of the dog sleeping in it.

Are your orthopedic dog beds good for dogs with arthritis or joint problems?
They are. Our high-density memory foam is specifically suited to dogs with arthritis, joint problems, or those simply advancing in years — distributing weight evenly and relieving pressure on the joints that trouble them most.

Dogs sleep between twelve and fourteen hours a day. What they rest on matters enormously — perhaps more than most people realise. An orthopedic dog bed isn't a luxury so much as a necessity, particularly for senior dogs, larger breeds, or those recovering from surgery or injury.

Our unique patent-pending design also incorporates added head support to encourage proper spinal alignment — and the shape itself replicates the natural den environment, offering the kind of deep, restorative rest that aging dogs deserve.

How do I wash and care for my Enid Blythe dog bed?
We designed our luxury dog beds with the realities of daily life firmly in mind. Care is refreshingly straightforward.

Cotton Cover: Machine wash on cold. Hang dry — do not tumble dry. The cover may shrink slightly during the first few washes, due to the natural 100% cotton fibers. Simply fit it back over the bed and it will stretch and mould beautifully — much like a well-loved pair of jeans finding their shape again.

Waterproof Base & Interior Lining: Wipe clean with a damp cloth — no removal necessary.

Memory Foam Interior: Spot clean with a damp cloth as needed.

A note on delivery: your bed will arrive compressed for ease of transit, with the cover in a separate box. Once unwrapped, allow up to 24 hours for the memory foam to fully decompress and come into its own. Good things, as they say, are worth a moment's patience.

What if my memory foam doesn't fully expand?
Memory foam responds wonderfully to warmth — it simply needs a little coaxing. Remove the foam from its cover so it is fully exposed, then place it in direct sunlight or the warmest spot in the house. A warmer room is its natural habitat — the more warmth you give it, the more generously it will bloom. Within a few hours, it should be perfectly expanded and ready for its most important occupant.

Are your luxury dog beds suitable for large breeds?
Absolutely. Our orthopedic dog beds were designed with large and giant breeds very much in mind — the dogs who have historically been most underserved by the luxury end of the market.

Large breeds are disproportionately prone to joint problems, hip dysplasia, and arthritis — which makes the quality of their sleep surface not a nicety, but a genuine health consideration. Our high-density memory foam and patent-pending design provide the structural support that larger dogs require, in a size that actually fits them.
